Diversity, Equity & Inclusion committee

The mission of the CFA UK Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Network (DEI) is to improve the investment management profession by promoting inclusion, diversity and equity balance within the industry to serve the best interests of our increasingly diverse society. The DEI Network will do this by educating future and present network members and investment professionals; by promoting professional standards and best practice from members, employers and the investment industry; and by creating an inclusive platform to promote the development of members’ careers through networking and skills building.

Main responsibilities

The inclusion and diversity committee is dedicated to encouraging, enabling and inspiring women to fulfil their careers in the profession by:

  • Leading the provision of professional development for diverse women in investment.
  • Driving the promotion of investment as a career for young women.
  • Informing decision makers, senior leaders and the public about the benefits of diversity in the investment profession.
