Sustainable Investing: Progress in practice

Virtual Conference  |  20, 21, 23 & 24 September 2021

WATCH CONFERENCE HIGHLIGHTS

CFA UK’s Sustainable Investment conference brings investment practitioners together to discuss how best to implement sustainable investment strategies today and in future. Our week-long event gives you the tools and information you need to integrate ESG and climate considerations into your investment practice.

There is now little need to discuss the ‘what’ or ‘why’ or ‘when’ in relation to sustainable investment practices. Now the emphasis is on ‘how’. Our conference  brings together practicing investment professionals to talk about how they are responding to the challenges and to share what they have learnt with the broader investment community.

Across four half-day sessions in the week beginning 20 September, we will bring investment professionals together to consider some of the key questions that we still need to resolve, to consider the skill sets that investment professionals need to cultivate, to look at the various sectors in which those skills need to be applied and to think about some of the challenges that are likely to arise in the coming few years. Our aim will be to provide you with practical guidance and learning that you can take back into your investment practice to the benefit of your clients.

We hope that you will join us and contribute to the debate with your own questions and comments. We will invite you to join moderated breakout sessions to continue the debate and to make connections of your own.

If you have already taken the  Certificate in ESG Investing  or are interested in sitting for our upcoming  Certificate in Climate and Investment, you will be pleased to see that a number of the authors of the official training manuals will be taking part in the event – they will be providing their thoughts on how best practice is developing across analysis, valuation and portfolio construction.
